Our Community Service Director is David Ashford. David is responsible to initiate and coordinate nearly all of our local community projects, and also be the Board spokesperson for other community projects initiated by members. This year, David refurbished the town clock with the help of a State Government grant, coordinated the Sunday Markets BBQ, coordinated and organised Rotary Race Day and initiated a lot of work to assist bushfire recovery including designing an app for emergency use, installing technology at bushfire and heatwave havens and improving the grounds at Mogo Boomerang Centre. Community projects are the heart of what we do as volunteers, and David works tirelessly to make sure Rotary has a prescence and is making a difference in town.
