The bridge is open, the foreshores are almost complete, and Transport NSW like to say thank you.
The construction of the Batemans Bay Bridge replacement project has been an enormous undertaking that could not have been accomplished without community support. Over 722,000 hours of work has been done to deliver the new four lane bridge and surrounding road and foreshore upgrades.
Saturday 2 July 2022 10:00am to 2:00pm
Northern Pier of the bridge – near Korners Park
Provide sausage sandwiches and bottles of water to the community. Sell soft drinks. Donation bucket
First Team 9:30am to 12:30pm
Unpack trailer, set up tables, equipment and donation bucket. Start cooking sausages by 10:00am
Second Team 12:30 noon to 2:30pm
Continue cooking sausage sandwiches until 2:00pm. Pack trailer, tables and equipment, Clean BBQ and cooking equipment. Tally till and Donation bucket.
Everyone else – come down and enjoy a free sausage sandwich and visit our refurbished Korners Park (part of the Rotary Trail).
